The word Pas in Bahasa Indonesia is roughly translated as “Just Right”. It is a non-formal way of expressing something fits your preference or happens just right timing.
Pas is majorly inspired by the practice of casual dining of Indonesians to focus on serving the best pairing of Indonesian homemade food and endless good time.
At Pas we aim to serve the comfort of Indonesian cuisine to the international community.
How it started
In Covid-time chef Petra Moerbeek missed the contacts with her friends and family and decided to find a way to connect with them. Her idea of connecting is via food, and that’s why she started @indo_ricebowl, as a side hustle.
After 4 years of Indo Ricebowl and cooking many delicious meals she felt the urge to start a more consistent place. A place where people can come together, eat good food and connect.
The location on the IJ is a dream, with a beautiful view of Amsterdam and housed in Sexyland, we felt at home from the very first moment.
